About TerraKulture GALLERY

The plenitude of Nigerian language, arts and culture has found its expression in Terra Kulture over the past 17 years. 

With a diverse collection of paintings, photographs, video, and sculptures, its eponymous gallery is the destination for any art enthusiast in Lagos. It has housed hundreds of exhibitions and auctions altogether, promoting dialogue between generations by collaborating with iconic and emerging artists. 

Founded by Bolanle Austen-Peters, the Terra Kulture Art Gallery offers the opportunity to spend hours in the unique and memorable pieces on that lay its matte white walls.

Now, it establishes a vital dialogue within artists and the country through curated group exhibitions, and renders its platform to represent and collaborate with Nigerian artists who incite change and originality through their contemporary works.

ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

Thank you for your interest in Terra Kulture Gallery. Formerly a house for curated guest exhibitions, we offer and invite emerging and established artist exhibition space in Terra Kulture gallery. Currently, we intend to foster and represent innovative talent.

Based on our modified goals, we are in search of emerging visual, experimental, conceptual and multi-disciplinary artists and storytellers from Nigeria that inspire change in the Nigerian and global art industry.

We consider all submissions very carefully.

• Submissions for consideration should include a portfolio, website link or 8-10 jpeg images (not to exceed 2MB).

• Images should include captions and descriptions

• Include your CV & your artist statement

• Mark your subject as ’Submissions’

• Tell us where you currently show and sell your work

• Submissions can take up to 1 month for review due to the volume of requests.

• If we feel that our gallery is the correct platform to showcase your artwork, we will contact you regarding further steps
